Privacy policy

Version of 3 October 2026.

This policy explains what personal data the JobTop platform (jobtop.uz) collects, why, how long it is kept, who can see it and when, and how you can manage your data. It has been prepared in accordance with Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-547 “On Personal Data” of 2 July 2019.

1. Who processes your data

The operator and owner of the personal data database is Data Byte Systems LLC (company website: databyte.uz).

2. Key terms

Platform — the jobtop.uz website, its subdomains and the JobTop Telegram bot.
User — anyone who uses the platform: a worker, an employer or a visitor without an account.
Worker — a user who is looking for work, one-off jobs or side work and publishes a profile.
Employer — an individual, sole trader or organisation looking for people to do work.
Personal data — any information that directly or indirectly identifies a person.
Processing — any action with personal data: collection, recording, storage, modification, use, transfer, anonymisation, deletion.

3. Consent to processing

By signing up and ticking “I accept the terms of use and privacy policy”, you consent to the processing of your personal data under this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 10).

The platform may only be used by people aged 18 or over.

4. What data we collect

When you sign up

first and last name (or company name);
mobile phone number, which is also your login;
password — stored only in encrypted form (a hash); nobody can see it, including JobTop staff;
email — optional;
role: worker or employer.

Worker profile (optional)

photo;
date of birth (only your age is shown on the site);
region and district;
professions, work experience, rate, profile headline and “About” text;
languages, preferred working times, advantages (own tools, transport, etc.);
photos of completed work;
Telegram username.

Employer profile

company name and type (individual or company);
region, district, description of activities, Telegram.

What you post and do on the platform

jobs and vacancies: description, address, pay, dates, photos;
responses, messages attached to them, proposed prices, response statuses;
reviews and ratings;
your list of saved workers;
support requests and complaints.

Password recovery via Telegram

the phone number you share with the bot and your Telegram chat ID — only to check that the number belongs to you and to send you a password reset link.

Technical data

IP address, browser and device type, login date and time, error logs — for security and protection against hacking;
an authentication cookie (see section 9).

We do not ask for or collect special categories of data: information about health, racial or ethnic origin, religious or political beliefs, criminal records, or biometric data. Please do not include them in your profile or listings.

5. Why we process data

to create and maintain your account, let you log in and restore access;
to show your profile or listing to other users so that workers and employers can find each other;
to deliver your response to the employer, or show you responses to your job;
to check listings for fraud, review complaints and block violators;
to answer support requests;
to calculate ratings and display reviews;
to keep the platform secure and investigate failures and hacking attempts;
to comply with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for automated decisions that have legal consequences for you, and do not send advertising without your separate consent.

6. Who can see your data

Visible to all visitors: name, photo, age (not date of birth), region and district, professions, experience, rate, profile text, work photos, rating and reviews. For employers — name, description and active jobs.
Visible only to registered users: phone number, Telegram and the exact address of a job.
An employer whose job you respond to sees your response and contact details.
Your email, date of birth, saved list and technical data are visible only to you and authorised JobTop staff (moderators and administrators).

When deciding what to include in your profile, keep in mind that public information is available to an unlimited number of people.

7. Sharing data with third parties

We share data only to the extent needed for the platform to work:

with providers of hosting, database and file storage, an email service and Telegram — under contracts that oblige them to keep data confidential and secure;
with government authorities — only in the cases and manner provided for by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Information you have made public in your profile or listing can be seen and saved by other users. Once you have given your contact details to an employer or worker, their further use is that person’s responsibility.

8. Where and how long data is stored

Personal data is stored and processed in compliance with the Law “On Personal Data” and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 415 of 29 July 2026, with measures in place to ensure its security.

Account and profile data, jobs, responses and reviews — for as long as your account exists.
After an account is deleted — deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except for information we are required by law to keep.
An account that has not been logged into for 3 years may be deleted; we will warn you in advance if we have your email.
Support requests and complaints — 3 years.
Technical logs — up to 1 year.
A password reset link is valid for 1 hour and stops working once used.

9. Cookies

At the moment the platform uses only strictly necessary technical tools:

the “payload-token” cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days and is deleted when you log out;
a record in browser storage (sessionStorage) so that one view of a listing is not counted several times.

We do not use advertising cookies and do not pass data about your visits to advertising networks. If we add analytics tools, we will update this policy in advance.

10. Your rights

Under the Law “On Personal Data” you have the right to:

know whether your data is processed, for what purpose, by what means and to whom it has been disclosed;
receive a copy of your data;
have inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data corrected — you can change most of it yourself under “Edit profile”;
withdraw your consent and have your data deleted or its processing stopped;
complain about the operator to the authorised state body for personal data or to a court.

To exercise your rights or delete your account, write to info@jobtop.uz or to support on Telegram from the number your account is linked to. We may ask you to confirm your identity so that we do not disclose data to someone else. We respond within the time limits set by law — usually within 10 working days.

11. How we protect data

all connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS);
passwords are stored only as hashes;
only staff who need access for their work have it, through personal accounts;
an account is temporarily locked after several failed login attempts;
we make backups and keep up with security updates.

No system is completely secure. Never share your password or password reset link with anyone. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.

12. Links to other websites

The platform may contain links to third-party websites and services (for example, Telegram). Their owners process data under their own rules, for which JobTop is not responsible.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page with its date. We will announce significant changes on the site in advance. By continuing to use the platform after the changes take effect, you accept the new version.
