Terms of use

Version of 3 October 2026.

These terms are a public offer by Data Byte Systems LLC (the “Operator”, “we”) within the meaning of Article 369 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They govern the use of the JobTop platform — the jobtop.uz website and related services.

1. General provisions

  • By signing up and ticking the consent box, you accept these terms and the privacy policy in full and without reservation. If you use the site without an account, the terms apply to the extent relevant to visitors.
  • The platform may only be used by people aged 18 or over.
  • If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

  • Platform — the jobtop.uz website, its pages and the JobTop Telegram bot.
  • User — anyone who uses the platform.
  • Worker — a user who looks for work or jobs and publishes a profile: a labourer, tradesperson, specialist or freelancer.
  • Employer — an individual, sole trader or organisation that posts jobs and vacancies.
  • Job — an employer’s listing: a one-off task, a permanent vacancy or a freelance project.
  • Response — a worker’s message to an employer saying they are ready to do the job.
  • Profile — the public page of a worker or employer.
  • Content — texts, photos and other materials a user posts on the platform.

3. What the platform does

JobTop is a listings platform that helps workers and employers find each other. The Operator:

  • is not an employer, recruitment agency or private employment agency;
  • is not a party to agreements users make with each other and does not handle payments for work between them;
  • does not guarantee that a worker will find work or an employer a worker, and is not responsible for the quality, timing or payment of work;
  • checks listings for signs of fraud but cannot verify everything users say about themselves.

4. Registration and account security

  • You need an Uzbek mobile phone number to sign up. One person — one account.
  • Provide truthful information about yourself and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password secret. All actions taken in your account are considered yours until you tell us it has been compromised.
  • You can restore access via the Telegram bot, by email (if provided) or through support.

5. Fees

  • For workers, all core features are free: profile, job search, responses and reviews.
  • For employers, posting jobs is currently free.
  • In the future the Operator may introduce optional paid services for employers (for example, promoting or highlighting listings). Their terms and prices will be published in advance, and paid services will never be applied without your explicit consent.
  • The Operator may display advertising on the platform.

6. Rules for employers

  • Post only real, lawful work with a clear description, location and pay terms.
  • It is forbidden to ask workers for money for paperwork, training, uniforms, medical checks, visas, “deposits” and the like.
  • Recruitment for work abroad may only be posted by organisations entitled to do so under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • Requirements that discriminate by gender, age, ethnicity, language, religion or other characteristics are forbidden, except where expressly provided for by law.
  • Use workers’ contact details and data only to contact them about your job, and do not pass them on to third parties.
  • You are responsible for complying with labour and tax laws when hiring.

7. Rules for workers

  • Give truthful information about yourself, your experience and skills in your profile.
  • Post your own photo and photos only of work you did yourself.
  • Respond only to jobs you are really ready to do, and let the employer know if you can’t come.

8. Prohibited for everyone

  • posting false or misleading information and fake listings;
  • offering illegal activities, multi-level marketing that requires investment, gambling, sexual services, drugs or weapons;
  • insulting or threatening others, inciting hatred on ethnic, religious or other grounds, or spreading extremist material;
  • posting other people’s personal data or photos without consent, or infringing copyright;
  • spamming, collecting users’ data automatically, or using bots and scripts to access the platform;
  • trying to hack the platform or other people’s accounts, or spreading malware;
  • creating multiple accounts to get around a ban or inflate reviews.

9. Moderation

  • Listings are checked automatically and, where necessary, manually. Suspicious listings are published only after review.
  • The Operator may reject, hide or remove content that violates these terms or the law, and restrict or block the violator’s account.
  • If you see a violation or signs of fraud, please let us know.

10. Reviews and ratings

  • Leave reviews only based on real experience of working with the person.
  • It is forbidden to inflate ratings, review yourself, or ask for or offer money for a review.
  • The Operator may hide reviews that contain insults or personal data or are clearly off-topic. An honest review cannot be removed for payment.

11. Relations between users

  • Users agree on working conditions, price, timing and payment directly with each other.
  • We recommend agreeing on scope and price in advance, never sending prepayments to strangers, and keeping your messages.
  • Disputes between users are resolved by the users themselves. The Operator may help within moderation but is not a party to the dispute.

12. Liability

  • The platform is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running smoothly but do not guarantee it will be error-free or always available.
  • The Operator is not responsible for the content of listings and profiles, users’ actions, or the consequences of agreements between them.
  • Users are responsible for the content they post and will compensate the Operator for losses caused by their breach of the law or these terms.
  • The Operator’s liability is limited to cases expressly provided for by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

13. Intellectual property

  • The JobTop name, logo, design and software code belong to the Operator. Copying them without written permission is prohibited.
  • You keep the rights to content you post and allow the Operator, free of charge and for as long as it is posted, to display it on the platform and in its promotion to the extent needed to run the service.

14. Changes to these terms

The Operator may change these terms. The new version is published on this page with its date. We will announce significant changes on the site at least 10 days in advance. If you disagree with the changes, you can delete your account; by continuing to use the platform, you accept the new version.

15. Ending use

  • You can stop using the platform at any time and ask support to delete your account.
  • The Operator may block or delete an account that violates these terms or the law.

16. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes with the Operator are first resolved through negotiation: send a written claim; the response period is 30 days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is heard by the court at the Operator’s location in the manner established by law.
